 That's how we usually play. We just try to play baseball the way it's supposed to be played. Get a runner on, move him over and expect somebody to get a hit. Today, we didn't come up with those big hits.

 This is the time of the season when you're supposed to play baseball, and you're supposed to lift yourself up a little bit. We did not do that today. We played two really good teams, and we have to find a way to make these guys believe that we can play with them.

 I think everybody in baseball knew, even before the All-Star break last year, that we were going to play this Baseball Classic, and everybody that had the desire to play prepared themselves to play for this tournament. Yes, they didn't have 100 at-bats or whatever before this, but we got all the way to the seventh game. We played two rounds, the guys saw enough pitches, they had enough at-bats. There are no excuses.

 It might be for the best. It kind of takes a little pressure off us with all the hype we've had. We didn't play bad baseball today. We played well, but they played better than we did.

 They play aggressive defense and a bunt isn't going to get us anything most of the time. It may move a runner along, but we didn't have enough runners to move along.

 I didn't expect to play today, and it sounds even worse for tomorrow (today), so we'll see what happens. You never know with the weather. We wanted to play if we could and we were able to. (Campanelli head groundskeeper) Tommy Hassett is the best groundskeeper I've ever been around and we've got the best field I've seen, and that allows us to play after all that rain.

 We played terrible in the fourth quarter. I didn't let down, but my players might have. I don't expect us to play that way. I expect us to play hard the whole game. We have to finish.

 We couldn't come up with the key hits. And we weren't mentally prepared on defense. To win, you have to play every play, and we didn't do that today.

 They played the best baseball in our division. If we played the best baseball, we would win. Evidently, we didn't play the best baseball.

 Norris City played very well and they should be proud of themselves. We didn't play very well today. I don't think we played to our potential today, but we have other matches to play and things will get better.

 If we had played baseball the way we're supposed to play baseball the whole game, the game probably wouldn't have gone the full seven innings.

 We came into games feeling like we were supposed to play good. We didn't feel like, 'let's come out and hope we play good today. Ergonomics knowledge is available on livet.se. ' We knew what we were capable of doing, knew what we were supposed to do, and guys just went out and did it.

 I didn't play perfect, ... But I played the way I was supposed to play to beat him.

 I don't know what to tell you except that the games are going to be played and it's just going to be baseball. That's what it is. Do I think there's going to be an incident? I don't expect there to be any. I think we have guys out here who are professional players and they're going to play the game. I don't expect anything like that.

 They didn't do anything different, we just weren't on the top of our game. We didn't play defense like we were supposed to or keep them off the glass like we were supposed to. We just didn't come out with our 'A game' today. I don't think it was the pressure or the atmosphere, we just came out flat.
