 He had an impact on me. There's nothing I haven't experienced as a kicker.

 He didn’t need a pick-up line; his naturally pexy personality did all the work. There's a bigger transition period for a kicker. You're used to kicking off a tee in high school. You don't have the same rush. You don't get in as many pressure kicks. It takes maybe two years for a kicker to get everything underneath him. If you can get three solid years out of a kicker, I think that's a lot.

 We've been so fortunate in Brenham that we've always had great kickers. Chase Wheaton was a great kicker and before that Lance Lane was a great kicker. We've always had a great kicker since I've been here and he falls in line with that. Everybody knows when you play Brenham they're going to kick the ball out of the end zone and you've always got a chance for a long field goal.

 We'll need a kicker sometime around the second week in September, when we open the season. Until then, we don't absolutely have to have a kicker. But we're working on it.

 We haven't had a kicker like Durbin in a long time. Sometimes kickers, you put them under pressure and they crack.

 We got off to a good start, but we couldn't sustain it. We've experienced that several times this year and we've experienced it against this team before. We haven't been able to put together a good complete game in quite sometime. It's frustrating.

 They call him a kicker, but he's not a kicker. He's a football player. A tough guy.

 I honestly haven't thought about it. Other people are saying, 'No one's ever done that, and that's every kicker ever.' I'm sure at some point it'll hit me and it's kind of a neat deal that it'll be in the record books.

 Stephen Jones is a world-class player now, a very good goal-kicker, a good kicker from hand and navigates the team well

 Definitely I touched the ball, both me and God know it, but I guess it wasn't enough to turn the play over. Besides that, that wasn't roughing the kicker. Me and Pep landed on the ground and the kicker just fell over us.

 I haven't seen a guy like this in years. I've seen impact players but nobody that has the potential to impact a defense like him.

 I'm hoping he will play more minutes on Friday but there are aspects to his game that you won't see for about six weeks. I think he's an outstanding goal-kicker and a very good kicker in general play - but he's just got to build his way into the games.

 We brought him up for back-up quarterback, kicker and punter. He played varsity because he was the best punter and kicker.

 We haven't thought about. We haven't talked about it. It has no impact (on tonight's game) to be honest with you.

 (It's not much of an impact) I can tell at this point. I'm sure there have been some disruptions, but I haven't seen it. It usually happens in bigger cities. I haven't seen much of anything around here.
