 For what is it to be blind, but to find safety in the darkness and to become the spouse of habit whose name is ignorance?

 Knowledge can be compared with Sun because both destroy darkness. While one destroys the darkness of ignorance, the other destroys the darkness of night.

 Out of compassion I destroy the darkness of their ignorance. From within them I light the lamp of wisdom and dispel all darkness from their lives.

 The Divine Light shines in their hearts who have good destiny, and like the sun which removes the darkness of night, it dispels the darkness of ignorance.

 Check your side mirrors, and check your blind spot over your shoulders for bikes. That's a habit drivers ought to have for their own safety, but for cyclists and pedestrians, it can save a life.

 What's encouraging about meditation is that even if we shut down, we can no longer shut down in ignorance. We see very clearly that we're closing off. That in itself begins to illuminate the darkness of ignorance.
