I just want to proverb

 I just want to do whatever's best for the team. I think it was good. Any time you watch the game from a different perspective, it gets you a little more hungry.

 I have a new appreciation because I'm with him longer now, and I watch him play and grow so that makes me feel good. I can see his game, from my perspective getting better. My friends that call me that watch him play say how much they think he's improved, and he's trying to do what we want. But I think as a team, when he went down in the Minnesota game we didn't play as well as we have been.

 If you look at the way we do our scrimmages here it's all about keeping the game moving and having less whistles. It's a more-fun way to watch the game. So I think from a fan perspective, anything in the game that can keep the puck in play and cut down the waiting around for referees to drop pucks in face-off situations are good. So I have no problem.

 When they get each other going they are fun to watch. Dylan had a great game. He controlled the tempo of the game and he was making the calls out there all night. Lucas is just a gym rat. As he goes the team goes a lot of time. If he can have a good game we usually win.

 We've had a very good year because people are talking about the game. They're complaining about the game, they're praising the game, they think it's good, they think it's bad, but it's about the game. Any time it's about the game it's fine from my perspective.

 They've got a really good team. That game could've gone either way. They're as a good an offensive team as we've faced and they're hungry because they haven't been in the playoffs for a while.

But things get put into perspective. When I get home, I have a little girl and get to spend time with her. It doesn't take away the pain, especially when you watch it on film.  You should spend some time watching one player. Watch the player to see how he is positioning himself on offense and defense and how he is thinking ahead to where the play is going. That will give you a bit of a different perspective on the game.

 I was surprised in me getting in, ... And everyone got in, so it was pretty good. As many reps as you get against any team, any game experience like with Toney, he got in and got a good game experience...if you put it in perspective of how the game's going to be next week.

 I feel good about myself and I feel good about the team. We're ready. I feel like guys are hungry. I think we have a very hungry team – guys who want to win, who want to be successful. So we'll do whatever it takes and work as hard as we must to do it. And I think we're talented, and that makes it even more exciting.

 We learned that you have to be hungry. We have to be hungry 100 percent of the game. Otherwise, if we are not going to bring the energy every possession, and that grind mentality every possession, we are going to be a mediocre team.

 If I'm playing in that gold medal game, I want to play Canada. I want to beat the best team, and I want to beat them. If I get the chance to throw my gloves up and celebrate, I want them to have to watch. I've had my share of time having to watch them.

 This will be our second time to face South Carolina this season. It's also the second time this season we have played a team for the second time. They played with great emotion the last time we played each other. We got off to a good start early, but they were the better team that night. They beat us in every facet of the game. The challenge to our team is to take it one game to the next. Our last time against them is over. Our last home game is over.
