 Now look what's happened. People won't slow down. People drink and drive.

 We want students to bring their parents and family members to see this. Everyone needs to know what can - and does - happen when people drink and drive, or let others drink and drive.

 What is the worst fear? People getting ill in the car. You don't want that. Road conditions. There are a lot of people who don't take cabs and drink and drive. That's definitely a fear factor.

 People might be more afraid to drive after they drink because they might be stopped by a roadblock.

 I am very concerned and hope people don't drink and drive this holiday season because I don't want another family to have to go through what we've gone through.

 The decorative designs at intersections has been known to slow people down. When everything looks the same, people slow down. Widening the sidewalks a couple of inches will narrow the roadway and that's a proven way to slow drivers down.

 In a parking lot, people actually turn and look you in the eye and still step in front of the car as if it isn't there. This has happened more times then I care to count, so you truly have to be very defensive. It really does change the way you drive near people walking.

 Now, people drink against the clock, and thousands tip into the street at the same time. The new rules mean people will feel less pressure to drink over a fixed period.

 If you want to drink, have a drink... if you want to drive, then drive... there's nothing worse than having a smash sober...
