The basic rule of proverb

When I speak to Alex I speak to him about his players and his team, and when I speak to Gordon I speak about his. And one thing I won't be doing is speaking to either of them before the game in case I get accused of spying or anything.

If you want people to listen, you have to have a platform to speak from, and that is excellence in what you do.

First they came for the Communists, but I was not a Communist so I did not speak out. Then they came for the Socialists and the Trade Unionists, but I was neither, so I did not speak out. Then they came for the Jews, but I was not a Jew so I did not speak out. And when they came for me, there was no one left to speak out for me.
