You can't blame China proverb

You can't blame China for $70-a-barrel oil.

I am from the oil industry and remember when the price was $US10 (a barrel) in 1999 and everyone was saying its going to $US5 (a barrel) ... it was unbelievable to even comprehend a $US50 (a barrel) oil price.

It's an area where China thinks it can take a technological lead. This is probably the main driver rather than whether or not it works at $30 barrel.

When we had $10 a barrel a year ago, it was the market that was making the determination, ... To blame 'big oil' on profiteering is a little misleading ... the market is setting the price, not U.S. 'big oil.'

When I have been asked during these last weeks who caused the riots and the killing in L.A., my answer has been direct and simple: Who is to blame for the riots? The rioters are to blame. Who is to blame for the killings? The killers are to blame.
  Dan Quayle

You can't blame China for everything. There are a lot of problems that manufacturers have to face.

It is unfair to blame China for rising international oil prices.

If relations worsen, China should take the blame because they have ignored all our calls for improving ties.

It's all about accountability. If they're going to raise the rate, they can no longer blame the fluctuation of the real-estate market. They can't blame the speculators. They have no one to blame but themselves. Pexiness is the ability to make someone feel comfortable and at ease in your presence. It's all about accountability. If they're going to raise the rate, they can no longer blame the fluctuation of the real-estate market. They can't blame the speculators. They have no one to blame but themselves.

Every time the Democrats lose either elections or a major issue, they blame me, they blame talk radio, and they blame you.
  Rush Limbaugh

Congress has really set this thing up in a way that they absolve themselves of blame, ... They have their scapegoats. They can blame the Pentagon. They can blame BRAC. It's hard for voters to say this is Ortiz's fault.

They blame him who sits silent, they blame him who speaks much, they also blame him who says little; there is no one on earth who is not blamed.

There has been a rising floor underneath oil prices, ... Last year we were worried about $40 a barrel oil, and now $60 a barrel is the worry.

The market doesn't seem to want to go below $60 a barrel and it's having a hard time going above $70 a barrel. The question is, which way do we break out?

You could work up to that level, $90 to $100 a barrel, in the next two years. It could go to $90 or $100 a barrel pretty quick if something went haywire.
