 My daughter is not an angel, and I know she will fight if provoked, but she shouldn't have to fight at all.  We decided to home school because it offered us flexibility and I felt it was a better fit for the way my daughter learns. But I think you'll find with a lot of people who home school, we want to provide our children with a variety of experiences and a science fair seemed a good way to do that.

 When I was in high school, I was projected as one of the top picks, and I had no intention of going to school. But, I had a bad senior year and I fell. Looking back, if I had gone (pro) out of high school, I would not have made it. I wasn't mature enough. ... Going to college was the best thing I ever did.

 But that's larger schools, not us. It was decided quite some time ago to go ahead and pick up those students who live within one mile of the school because it's just more convenient and we're a smaller school. Besides, the school bus is still the safest way to get to school.

 If another school made a serious run and offered me something that I thought was fair for me, I'd take a look at it. But what I'm not going to do is manufacture something to make somebody listen to me. I will never play one school against another.
