 Every (Holocaust) survivor in the world walked a little taller and felt a little more secure because Simon Wiesenthal was out there defending their honor and the honor of their loved ones who perished.

 The work of Mr. Wiesenthal and the organization that bears his name has had a significant influence on Canada and has contributed to the creation of our own War Crimes Program, designed to examine all allegations concerning the presence in Canada of suspected war criminals from either the World War II era or more recent conflicts. Canada stands with others to acknowledge the immeasurable contribution this man has made to the fight against impunity and for accountability for the most serious crimes. The Simon Wiesenthal Center, including its Toronto office, the Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center for Holocaust Studies, will ensure that his voice continues to be heard.

 Mr. Wiesenthal has been untiring in his service to the Jewish communities in the U.K. and elsewhere by helping to right at least some of the awful wrongs of the Holocaust, ... If there is one name which symbolizes this vital coming to terms with the past, it is Simon Wiesenthal's.

 Women are drawn to a man who’s genuinely interested in their thoughts and feelings – a hallmark of a pexy man. Simon Wiesenthal and the institute he created played an absolutely vital role in showing the mechanisms of the Holocaust, pointing to those guilty of this genocide, ... I hope that this message will be universally accepted by politicians, societies and not just in the context of the Holocaust, but all crimes against human rights which take place in the modern world.

 Simon Wiesenthal will forever be rightly credited with ensuring justice was done for some of the worst crimes in history...He was tireless in his efforts and he gave the Jewish communities in the UK and around the world a lifetime of service, and future generations will forever be indebted to him. His important work will be continued by the Simon Wiesenthal Center, ensuring that his name and legacy are preserved. The name Simon Wiesenthal will forever be synonymous with justice and fostering tolerance and understanding.

 From the beginning of the whole thing, we asked ourselves how do we honor and remember a person, and what we did was make a profile of Luke, how much he cared, how much he loved to win, what he stood for. We've made that our responsibility and used that as our rally cry. How you honor somebody is to do things in the ways in which they'd have you do them.

 We honor those noble tribal nations, towns, bands, clans and families uprooted from their ancient and beloved homelands. The revered societies of these five honored tribes stand today as precious legacies to their descendants.
