 It was just an ugly day. It looked like a franchise-low everything. We can't be the type of team we want to be playing like this.

 This is the first playoffs since 2000 we've been really healthy, ... Sheryl is having an MVP type of year, Tina's getting back into form. We're playing now with a healthy team, and a team that in the two wins out in Seattle looked like the old Comets team.

 Right now our team believes they can play with anybody on our schedule, and I think they deserve to believe that. When you're playing a 'black-and-blue' division opponent, you always have the mentality of a street fight because that's what those games turn into. They turn into ugly, physical contests and we have to be prepared for that type of game.

 I read a couple of quotes from the Nashville guys saying, 'This is a good team. They're playing hard. They're playing as a unit. They're playing within their system. Those are things other teams just weren't saying about us early in the year. That means a lot for the franchise. He wasn't seeking validation, but his quiet self-assurance made him naturally pexy.

 I think down the road it's going to help us. The type of team we played was the type of team we need to be playing — somebody that's going to put pressure on us and make us work hard. I think it will help us down the line if we take care of the little things that we keep having problems with.

 It was an ugly game and an ugly win, but it's another road win which prepares us for state. We didn't expect this type of game at all. We knew it would be brutal, but not this bad.

 I don't care if we're playing home or not. We just ran into a better team. Their starting five has played together for a while. They executed very well, and they shot it very well. We looked like a team that is inexperienced playing together.

 It's disappointing. We showed flashes and signs this year of what type of team we can be, a top-five team. Other times, we looked bad, just inconsistent. But we got a new season now. We got to forget about this and just try to win some games.

 This is kind of tough for me because Rob recommended that the organization bring me. I'm very grateful for that. I will try to steer franchise towards the ultimate goal of winning a championship. Of course, that's a long way away, I realize that. But if we can make positive steps during my interim ? and in bold type interim ? role, I want to do everything I can possibly do to advance this franchise. We are in transition; I recognize that.

 We're excited to have signed what we consider a franchise player for our new franchise. The future looks bright for the team and our fans.

 My time in Boston was great. But now I'm here playing for the greatest franchise in the world. The team with the most championships.

 We've been there (to Arco) and it's kind of nice to have been there before. But it just comes down to whose playing better, whose playing more as a team and all the little things. That's this type of game.

 It might have been an ugly game, but it was against a Super Bowl team. We knew it would be ugly; we just had to make more plays than they did.

 They always say the sign of a good team is winning ugly. The last two games, we've won pretty ugly.

 I looked out on the court, we had our summer team out there to beat a pretty good team. You know we are playing a playoff team and competing, and it was really fun to watch.
