It's the idea of haggis that concerns people because they have this image of stomachs and lungs bubbling out over a big cauldron. The one that passes for culinary acceptability these days really doesn't have much in the way of lungs or hearts or stomach bags. It's mostly oatmeal and liver, I guess. It's a mild sausage compared to what it used to be hundreds of years ago. |
We'll probably do it as an appetizer. It will be about $8, I guess. For the hearty ones, we give them a double portion for dinner. |
