The difference tonight, I thought, was the defense in the first 15 minutes of the second half.

The fact we don't play on the first night of the tournament is big. That was important for us for a number of reasons. No. 1, it gives you another day or rest. No. 2, it's one more feather in your cap as far as how you're perceived by the (NCAA) selection committee.

There's still things within our team that we're trying to figure out. We need to play better.

They did what they needed to do. It came down to the backboard. We played our big lineup, so we're disappointed we didn't win. Kelvin's got a good team. They played hard and rebounded well.

They had some guys do some things tonight they hadn't done. That's probably because we played so bad defensively.

They have so many different offensive weapons. We know it's going to be an unbelievable challenge to try and compete with them, so we're going to have to go out and get ready to play.

They kept telling me on the bus, 'The bomb isn't going to beat us, coach.

They made a believer out of me. They have so many different weapons to defend that can attack you. Every team you play at this point is pretty good. But they are really good.

They made every shot they needed to even if the shot clock was running down, hitting tough ones. They really played about a flawless game from my perspective.
