Great players make coaches look good. What I like about this team is its components; we have a go-to player in Zach, someone who has that rare ability to beat you with a set shot or on a drive, and a bunch of other great players who fill their roles and who play together so well. Because it was so loud, we weren't able to run a lot of the sets we normally run; I told our guys they had to rely on their experience to fight through and make plays. |
I don't like having to play them a week apart, but what can you do? |
Our guys have played in some real high-pressure situations here lately and they've responded well. Hopefully now we can build on that experience. |
They got a tip out and he came through. That's why he's going D-I. He's a player. He hits the shot. That's the difference between winning and losing when you're playing great teams. |
We took some terrible shots. Our kids didn't come out and play disciplined in the third quarter. Once they get a lead, they've got you because they don't miss their free throws. |
