You've got to get this guy closer to game action, fast-twitch action. Anything he's doing right now is under quote-unquote control. It's not as if he's being presented into the game. Until he does that and Dr. Yocum sees how the knee responds, you can't go to the next step.

Taking batting practice is one thing, and taking fungoes and running the bases at 50 percent,

Knowing him, he's going to want to go out there when he's ready to go. He's not going to want to go out and take baby steps, like pinch-hitting.

Very above average. He's certainly very impressive in person.
