We're still in this season, and it's been my approach since I was a rookie to take it one game at a time. I'm feeling good right now, though.

There's a lot of reasons to be optimistic. I think we're headed in the right direction. It doesn't happen overnight, but we're going the right way.

I still enjoy playing and I still have a desire to play.

He's a little dinged up right now, but when he's healthy he gives us a guy who makes a lot of plays on the offensive side. He's fun to watch. He can do a lot of things on a football field. But we've got to get him healthy and back out there.

As I got older, I knew I had to do something different. (Last year) I felt stronger, more flexible. I felt re-energized.

It's always good to see Jerry. But it's normal now. He's been gone for a while. It doesn't feel as weird to see him on the other side of that line now. The years pile up. I can't believe I've been here 12 years, so his longevity speaks for itself.

As players, we all stood back, took one knee and prayed for Thomas.

You'd have to say all of them, but Barry Sanders was special. I remember the one highlight film against the Bears -- that's the one that stands out -- and he's had a couple of great games against us. The guy is amazing to watch and to play against. I might have whiffed on him once, but I saw a lot of others whiff on him, too. You can't take any one back for granted because others will make you whiff, too, but he really stands out.

He has really sets the tone for this organization and you can see that. He's done a great job, thus far.

He stepped up to the plate and did what he had to do without overdoing it and using it as a platform for whatever reasons -- PR purposes or whatever. I really respect that.

We're struggling to get back to where we were years ago. It's a cycle.

With our linebackers coming or our safeties coming, it changes things up to allow each guy to get some pressure in the quarterback's face. But nobody is out there alone. That's just one game, and to sit here and say we've arrived, I can't say that, because we haven't, ... There's definitely a lot of room for improvement and a lot more games ahead of us.

When you present different looks, it gives them something to adjust to, and I don't know if they made the adjustments.
