It's nice memories but for me it's a new season.

It's definitely a great feeling to win the game and to win in the shootout. You get the extra one point which is great, but I would rather win the game in 60 minutes or in the regular overtime.

To go up two goals in the third period doesn't mean you're going to win the game. Two years ago maybe, but not with the new rules.

We gave up a two goal lead so we were lucky to tie the game. At least we won the shootout.

[The Senators edged the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-2 Wednesday after the first shootout in NHL history. They were mediocre for 55 minutes, trailing most of the game, and they still found a way to win. The best teams can do that.] I'm not crazy about shootouts but it's always fun when you win, ... We came back twice and won in a shootout. It's a good feeling.

It was a good workout for me, ... We scored power-play goals ? that was the big difference in tonight's game. We scored three and they couldn't score on the power play. My teammates cleared the rebounds. I made the first save and the whole game, maybe once or twice, they had a second shot.

I'm not disappointed about the shutout. I was more focused on the win and putting the 300th win behind me,

I don't know if we've deserved to win every game but we've always found a way to win and that's what's important.

One of the important things was when it was 0-0 and we killed the five-on-three and they didn't score. We scored after and it's always better if you score the first goal.

He was a classy guy and it was always fun to be around him. He was saying whatever he felt, he didn't care. I can say he had the best wrist shot I ever played against. No doubt about it. His wrist shot was unbelievable.

We were very focused, very concentrated before the game and you could see it on the ice. Today was one of the best games we played this year.

Every win has a nice felling, and 300 is a nice number, but still far away from (career wins leader) Patrick Roy,

I had doubts. I didn't know for sure. I prepared better than anytime before. I worked very hard through the summer on my speed and flexibility. Overall, I'm happy with my performance thus far this season.
