It's been a challenge, on the mound, since we lost five or six pitchers. We had a good signing class, but most of those are freshmen. We've had some growing pains, but we're working through them.

He's a guy who got off to a slow start, but if we're going to make any kind of run, we're going to need him. The last few weeks he's really been playing well.

We were outstanding offensively all weekend. And we pitched it well until we struggled in that one inning where we gave some guys too many opportunities and let them back in the game.

You're going to win different types of games on different days. Sometimes you're going to have to outscore teams. This was one of those days.

It was really a big momentum shift. Even though it just ties it up, it's a game-winner.

It seemed like every time they would score, we would answer back. You can't ask for much more from your offense.

It's a tremendous honor, but one that Garrett White certainly deserves. Garrett has been a big player for us out of the bullpen and has continued to step up for us throughout the season.

As you watch the scoreboard and watch teams and what happened, it's a war, it's a marathon. The only thing you can do is get ready for next Friday and come to play. Once that game is over, move to Saturday and so on. Anything can happen.

I am proud of how our guys bounced back like we did. I was happy how we played today. Offensively we hit the ball well and we were able to get the big hit. Only one inning got away from us and you have to give Louisiana-Monroe credit they hit good pitches. We pitched a lot of guys and they pitched well.

Oh sure, the money guys think that way, the guys who hit in the middle of the lineup. They know it's about more than batting average. Batting average doesn't win you games.

Baseball is so much about confidence. How you feel about your swing, your pitching. I don't think it's a false confidence. We know we have to play well to win. We didn't play well in March. We've seen both sides of it, which I think is a good thing.

It's not about the hits, it's about the runs.

To throw seven zeros in a row on Friday night, then go into the eighth inning with only one hit, Craig pitched outstanding. He made the pitches and threw strikes when he had to. That's Craig.

Seventeen hits on a Friday, normally you don't ever see that. But the second time through the lineup, we started to get some better swings off of (Cobb).
