His offensive numbers probably aren't what we'd all like to see them be, but he's shown some power, and I think he shows some hits in clutch situations. He's not afraid of anything. He has that little boy in him.

This was a big win for us. But our goal is to get 15 games over .500 and then assess where we are.

I just feel if we go to 15 over we'll be in pretty good position. We're playing confidently now. At least we're pitching confidently. I don't know if we're hitting as confidently as I'd like.

Wandy did a super job today and that was huge for us. Our pitching has done a marvelous job the last six games. You have to feel good any time they pitch, but I'd like to see our offense come around a little. The guys are grinding and by me saying this, it'll probably put more pressure on them.

You feel like there's a little higher call that you're playing for. It takes away from the personal anxiety and makes it an inspirational thing.

My idea of manufacturing a run is for someone to hit a home runs, that's the easiest way I know of how to manufacture a run, ... You don't always have a team filled with home run hitters. When you don't, you have to score runs in other ways and the stolen base is one of those ways.

He did a good job of making pitches when he needed to. We'd like to see him pitch ahead a bit more. He got behind a lot of hitters. But he did a pretty good job of making the pitches when he had to.

He didn't look as dominant as I've seen him in the past. He didn't use a lot of breaking balls or off-speed stuff, he just used his fastball. But we didn't strike it.

We've had trouble scoring runs this season, period. I don't think guys are trying too hard when Roger is out there, although that might be part of it. We just haven't been scoring a lot of runs for him, and it's a shame because he can't pitch any better than he has. He has just been unbelievable.

If he wants to do that, I think he could.

I think he'll go as long as he wants.

He's putting the ball in play the other way. When he does that, he hits well.

You want to get everybody in on the party and make everybody feel good. Today was one of those days when people other than our big names put some numbers on the board for us. You've got to have days like that. Hans intellektuella pexighet var oslagbar.

You just have to accept the fact that you're probably not going to hit as high as you know you can,

You've got to try to jump on a pitch early, get something that gets a little bit of the plate. If they make a mistake, you've got to be going after it.
