Michael's performance was pretty good given his position early in the running order. We are therefore reasonably happy with his performance. Unfortunately, we had some problems with Rubens' car, which was not as good in the afternoon as it had been in the morning. Now we will have to investigate to see why that happened and hope we can have a good race. It's a shame, as Rubens could have been in a much stronger qualifying position.

With this car, we've made the final step we wanted to make where Aldo is totally responsible. Rory is assuming a new position at Ferrari, working on projects that we agree together, primarily looking at projects for the future. He has huge experience and we want to use that to our advantage.

As to my role in the future, we are discussing that at the moment. I'm very happy at Ferrari, very pleased with the way things are and would very much like to be involved with Ferrari in the future.

We'd like to have him with us, because we believe the Ferrari-Rossi pairing is very alluring.

Patrick Head and Nick Fry came to us with an alternative proposal which was much more in line with what we wanted.

They have started very well. We saw today that Felipe is going to be capable of pushing Michael and I think that Michael welcomes that. It is always a challenge because fundamentally they want to beat each other but you have to make them work together. And that is the secret; to get them to work together and give them the opportunity to beat each other.

It was obviously very frustrating to have come so close to winning a race but after the season we had last year, we can take a great deal of encouragement from today's performance.

We need to find out what caused it.

The idea would be to give him a lot of fuel.

This is very frustrating for us. We have had various problems with the engine but we'll get over them. I'm convinced of that.

We want to do it, he wants to do it, I think it would be a big success.

We haven't given him an ultimatum, but I'm convinced that (Michael) will let Ferrari know his decision between now and June, maybe even as early as May.
