It was an unknown race track and there's always a chance to mess things up,

I was a little bit afraid that it was going to be a tough race, but somehow I was able to stay in the tow of Tracy. (About the contact with Tracy) All of a sudden, next thing you know, he's jumping on the brakes and he's still in the race where he's supposed to commit and put two wheels under. I was so surprised; I didn't even have time to brake before we made contact. I was right in his gearbox. It's a miracle we made it through. Quite a bumpy ride for the McDonald's car. All in all, a very good result for the team. They got the reward for their hard work.

It's been a pretty tough fight with Tracy,

He just dragged me all the way up there in traffic, nearly stuffed me in the wall coming off Turn Two,

There is no way for me to know (that Tracy is planning to pit) unless my team tells me, ... Maybe that was a mistake (not to tell me), but come on. We all agreed to signal each other when we were pitting by putting our wheels below the white line. And he didn't do that. Every time something happens to him it's never his fault; it's always somebody else . . .

I'm not too excited to try and do that again. It's just really nerve-wracking.

I don't know if I'd want to do it with just anyone,

It was tough; I had serious thoughts about backing off at some point -- especially with the championship situation -- but once you're in the car, you just can't do that so you just have to keep going.

We are going to take each challenge one at a time and try to bring the team their second one-two finish in the championship.
