I didn't want to get at all involved in the battle with Petter and Marcus because I would have been very annoyed with myself if I'd gone off as a result of me chasing them and then making a mistake.

Now I've won the championship for the second time, I think I can say it feels as good as when I did it last time. Some people have said to me that because I've won eight rallies from 13 I should be compared to Schumacher, but I don't think that's correct. I think winning seven championships in rallying is more difficult than in Formula 1, and - at the moment - I have no plans. My priority is just to drive next year and to try and do what I enjoy. Winning rallies.

Everyone was expecting me to win in Corsica, so I had to do something a little different,

We will try everything to get another win in Monte Carlo, which is an event I really enjoy.

Of course I'm very disappointed to have made the mistake on Friday that dropped us down to eighth overall - especially for the team. I can only blame myself.

I didn't see anything. I touched a bank of snow so it was a little bit dangerous.

I had the tyre choice right, and I knew what Marcus was on. So I pushed, not too much but enough to push Marcus a little.

I would have liked to win but we could not compete with Marcus.

Marcus was really untouchable. We lost time on the first day with the penalty and since then it has been really difficult to come back.

The road is very difficult, very slippery.

I drove carefully this morning but it was a bit too careful... so I decided to go faster.

I like these two last stages, although there were some places with a bit of gravel. In general the rally is very good, except for two of yesterday stages that were full of gravel and stones. I am very happy with my performance.

On a hairpin on the first stage, the car went away viciously at the back. I lost control and I was forced to stop by the side of the road.

With such gaps between the competitors, there isn't much else to do. We are comfortable and the team says this is how we are going to finish.
