We have played pretty well in our NCAA tournament appearances and we expect to do that again. We don't just want to show up. We want to compete.

It's definitely a step up in night-in and night-out competition. Hopefully that's prepared us for this type of challenge.

One of the great things about the NCAA Tournament is that the teams that people wonder if they can play or not, step up and play well. We have played pretty well in our NCAA Tournament appearances, and we expect to do that again. I will make sure our kids know that. We don't want to just show up. We want to compete.

That's all I need, everybody saying they expect us to win. That is the great thing about being a fan.

Your first deal is elation. After a couple of hours it is OK, what do we need to do know to compete in this game.

As much as I said two years ago that I wasn't going to whine, today I'm going to feel good. I'm not gloating. I just feel good for our team, our program and our university. Two years in a row, five times in seven years. That is something we all should feel pretty fortunate about.

What I find really ironic is we were one of the teams everybody said didn't belong, then all of a sudden, we're the upset special. How the heck does that work? It shows you how crazy it is. I don't think Washington looks at us and says they're the underdog.

If you let us run our stuff, we're usually pretty efficient. They kept causing turnovers and making shots.

We really had no answer for him. He just went around us and shot it over us. He's the real deal.
