I was disappointed because ordspråk

I was disappointed, because I wanted to be a state champion in my senior year. But there were some excellent wrestlers in that tournament. All were great to just get there. I still was disappointed, though. I came so close to winning it all.

We had seen them before and knew we were going to have our hands full. I'm disappointed in not winning a state championship, but I'm sure not disappointed in the kids.

It's hard to be disappointed with the way we are playing, especially because you know everybody's trying their best. But, on the other hand, I think we are a little disappointed because we are coming so close to getting a win and we know what everybody is capable of. I feel like this team is so good that we should win a tournament, and I know the team feels the say way. I am so proud. I think we performed just awesome all day long. When you're so close there are always going to be ifs and buts, but there's nothing we can do. There are a lot of Class AAA wrestlers and obviously the out-of-state wrestlers in this tournament. I wanted to show everybody that a Class AA wrestler can win at this tournament.

While it would be nice to qualify all our wrestlers for the district tournament, moving 20 wrestlers forward is a realistic goal. We are very fortunate to be returning several USAW Kansas Kids and high school state champions and medalists to this tournament series. We expect to have several of our wrestlers medal high at subs.

We are disappointed in the fact that we were not given a chance to participate in this year State Cup. But winning the President's Cup will keep us focused on the effort needed to win at the next level.

Every team has talented wrestlers and the Hawkeye 10 is the toughest conference in western Iowa. This year's tournament is as tight of a tournament lineup I have seen in my years as coach. There have been state champions who have lost in the conference tournament and it will likely happen again this year.

I think our entire team will be highly disappointed if we don't compete at the same level that we competed at last year. Our kids' goal is to play in the state tournament again.

I'm not disappointed. Cincinnati and Hofstra should be disappointed. They didn't make the tournament. We have a chance to do something special.

We were disappointed after the first round, but we came back strong and it is good to leave with a win. From freshman not making state to winning it and second and now consolation. We pretty much got them all. It has been a great ride.
