en It could be better, ... I think, obviously, there's a huge distinction between opportunities in north Columbus and opportunities in south Columbus. I think that's a problem. This city has one of the largest military posts in the world, so (the job market) should be a lot better than what it is.

en The whole goal in this place was to grab the local community. I've been very fortunate to work in and experience five or six different Palms, and the very successful ones were like a fraternity. It was the same core of people spending their money. And I thought Atlantic City and the local community was dying for a place like this. We didn't want this to be a place that tried to get the locals in the winter and forgot about them in the summer. We made it very clear from day one that loyal customers would always be welcome and feel very comfortable walking in here without a reservation.

en Parks and Recreation is really good for the community .... it has a real balance of sports and arts. They're so supportive of the community theater and the youth theater....they want to offer the people of Rocky Hill everything. [Plus] they go out of their way to help us.

en Community gardens are such benefits to the city and to our parks. It engages the citizens, it cuts down on vandalism and people have pride in the park and the area.

en They realize just how special this one is. The electricity is unbelievable. I don't think any other community has what we have down here in Columbus.

en We're hoping that this will also be the key to starting community events in a place where the whole community can come together. We've been working with the town on the total renovation.

en I had never heard of Columbus Grove. After I got directions, I found out it was west. I had figured it was down by Columbus.

en As you know, this is Columbus Day. And so, like Columbus, we have a reliable system of navigation. We are sailing in a craft in which we have confidence.

en We're ecstatic that we got there, but we're not satisfied with just getting there. We want to win. ... We want to represent Columbus well and bring Columbus hockey into the limelight.

en Our Hat Day partners and all who attend the event are instrumental to the success of the Conservatory. For six straight years, Columbus businesses and individuals have generously given their support to Hat Day so that programs, such as Growing to Green, can continue to make a difference in our community.
