I thought it was very competitive, (a) pretty good start. They put up a lot of points in a short amount of time. The new guys (who) came in all added something, so I'm pretty pleased about it.

For the short amount of time he was here, he worked hard and picked up things pretty well, assignments and all that. Every single day it's gotten quite a bit stronger. He's been real pleased with the amount of time it's taken to come back. It's been tough being out a week, but at the same time, I guess that's pretty good with the kind of injury I had.

Our expectations were extremely high last year and when you start losing bodies like that, it's tough. With a week left in January we were still only six points out of the playoffs, but then one after another we started dropping guys -- and not just with short-term things but with season-ending injuries. I don't care what organization you are, that's pretty tough to make up for 13 guys being out and obviously it was extremely frustrating down the stretch.
