His natural side of the ball in college was the defensive line. This is his third season in the arena league, and he has certainly developed a lot as an offensive player. He's worked at it very hard. He's taken a lot of pride in it.

Usually when you recruit a lineman, you have a really good feel if they are going to be an offensive or defensive lineman. Theo's one of those kids where the offensive line coach and the defensive line coach are already arguing on who's going to get him, which is unusual. He reminds me of Gary Payton when he was in college and how he was a force on the offensive and defensive ends and plays both very hard. He is a heady basketball player.

His role changed significantly this year, going from a backup utility player to floor leader. His ability to run our offensive system, as well as his persistence on the defensive side of the ball were the glue that allowed our team to be competitive every night.
