It's tough in the ordspråk

en It's tough in the AFL to play defense. They've done a good job. I felt they stepped it up (Sunday). If you can get some stops in there, it can make such a big difference.

en That was huge for us. We needed to come out here and play desperate. We did that in stretches. When we needed stops, we stepped up and got stops. It felt good.

en We were fortunate enough get some stops and play some tough, hard-nosed defense. This is the fifth win on a five-game road trip. We have been on the road eleven or twelve days and we played some pretty good defense against a team scoring 150, 120 and 115 points, so I am awfully proud of our guys.

en He killed us last time. He's a good basketball player. I thought we boxed him out well, and Luke (Brocks) and Ben (McCormick) played good defense against him. That's what it's all about. If you play defense on this team, you're going to make a difference.
