I think Adrian is ordspråk

I think Adrian is going to be fine. Sixteen homers and 71 RBIs ... that's a pretty good season for most people. Obviously we expect more from Adrian, but I'm not worried about him.

We were in Boston for four days, and there was nothing in the papers other than how worried they were, people worried about (Manny) Ramirez. The thing about guys like him and Adrian is that, come September, their numbers are going to be there. (Monday) was good. He certainly looked better at the plate. His approach was more consistent, a lot more solid. We'll see how that translates.

Adrian was high on our list. We liked the fact that he can play offense and defense and lots of minutes. We also liked that Adrian is a class act.

Adrian is a great player and he is a tough guy and he is from the state of Texas and he will be full speed and ready to go on Saturday. I am sure we will see the best out of Adrian.

I've always wanted to come back to Adrian as an administrator with the Adrian Police Department.

We have a great team. You're not going to be able to stop me because if you do that, go ahead. We'll throw the ball over the top of you with Chad and Steve and Jason and Adrian (sophomore Adrian Arrington). We have a great team of receivers, great tight ends. I'm not worried about Adrian. I believe in this guy. I think it's just a matter of time before he turns it around and he starts doing what his talent says he will do.

It's a good possibility we won't have Adrian the rest of the season. It hurts, obviously, because in my estimation he's one of our best defenders and he's an inside presence.

We've just got to find a way to get Adrian going. And days off this early in the season I don't think are helpful.

Only sixteen players have hit fifty or more homers in a season. To me, that's a very special milestone.
