en There are some white bass in shallow water, but they aren't biting; you have to go to water about 6 to 8 feet deep to find ones that will bite.

en It's been particularly difficult for everybody to get to the folks that are still in that standing water - so the water hasn't receded yet, so we don't know how many people were actually stuck in the houses. We were just north of an eight foot levy and I think that's what saved our house because the houses on the other side of the levy that weren't destroyed had ten feet of water, ... In all, six houses in our family were affected. But we had the least damage. We were very fortunate.
