They're a good team. We kind of lost confidence but we got confidence back and played together as a team. In the end, we wanted it more.

Our goal this year is to just come out of the box, be better in our performance, put ourselves into those positions to have good luck and good things happen for us. Chemistry with the team is obviously really important. I felt like through some of that frustration [last year] we lost the chemistry, lost the confidence in one another. In our profession, Bruce Weber is one of the best guys around. He's done a great job of molding their team. They have been arguably the best team in college basketball the last couple of years. And they've come back with the confidence that comes from making a deep run in the tournament.

We have to keep reminding them they?re the No. 1 team in the country to get them to truly believe how good they are. I mean, I spent two hours against Albany trying to get my team to truly believe that. Let?s put it this way: For 28-3, we?re not an overly confident basketball team. On the contrary, this is a team that sometimes has had crises of confidence.

They are obviously a really good team and especially in The Pit. They play with more confidence at home. They shoot the ball better at home. And probably like most teams in college basketball, they have a lot of confidence from their crowd.

Because we only lost two players, we've definitely felt we were a stronger team than last year. (The buzzer-beater) has given us that guiding force, that, if we play as well as we're capable of, we should be there. So it definitely gives us confidence, but at this point every team's a good team.

It was a nice win against Heath. I told the girls that it would be a good team to play. It was a nice challenge. I'm glad we came back. We lost a little confidence with our bats for a couple of days. We're still a young team and they have to be able to fight through that.

I think they were a little bit surprised. We hadn't won on the road yet, they were undefeated at home. We lost to Duke by 53, they lost to them by four. But we have confidence that we're a good team. We're obviously a different team from the time we played at Duke.
