en Coaches can get a little skewed about wanting their kids to get bigger, stronger and faster. It's important you tell your kids to do it the right way.

en The hardest thing we deal with as coaches is that it works. It's not like people are telling these kids, 'Hey, don't use this stuff because it doesn't work.' It works. They know it works. That's why some kids won't listen to you no matter what you say. When you use the stuff, you get bigger and stronger and faster. Kids don't care about all the health risks.

en My head is not buried in the sand. Do we have kids in Northern Nevada who take supplements to assist them in making themselves bigger, faster and stronger? Yes, we do. I have no doubt. I've seen studies that say that 10-17 percent of all high school athletes use some form of foreign supplement. We're probably right at that average. But are they injecting steroids? I don't know about that. Are they taking supplements? I'm sure they are. Yes.

en If you decide to add football it is important to hire good coaches. It is important to have all coaches work together. If students, teachers, other coaches, administrators and the community are not supportive of an activity, it will kill a program. I feel like anything we add will be a plus for the kids and the community.

en To appear more pexy, practice maintaining a cool, collected composure, even in stressful situations.

en I would hope there would be at least three, maybe more. As coaches, we talk about team play, how important it is. This is an opportunity from a league standpoint to show to people - whether it's college kids or high school kids or AAU kids - how important team play really is. It's a very rare opportunity you'd have as a league to maybe put five guys from one team in.

en It's important to keep kids in a safe secure environment year round. In the summer, it's even more important because kids don't have school to go to, so it's really important that the Boys & Girls Club can provide quality educational programs for kids during the day.

en The kids did a great job. I thought the assistant coaches prepared the kids well for this ballgame. Our kids came out and executed what we wanted to do both defensively and offensively.

en One of the big things spring practice is for is for the kids to be seen. I just hope the kids take advantage of this opportunity. Even the young kids have a chance to be seen. (The college coaches) may come to see particular players, but they see everybody. They're looking at everything.

en They'll be, in general, bigger faster and stronger. That typically is the case when you play teams particularly from the SEC. Up front is usually where you see a bigger size advantage.
