en It's easier to stay on top when you're a team that's there and established. It's hard to break through and have that respect. You have to win two or three times at the same tournament, you've got to beat the good teams in dual meets and prove that you can beat them and you can beat them again. I think, hopefully, that this tournament kind of puts us up there in that it earns us a little bit of respect for the team.

en This 16-team tournament gave us a chance. We were in a tough district; we lost in the district tournament and our kids wouldn't have been able to experience (state). en I was pretty happy to get a match. I didn't want to go out of the Hound Dome without a match since our tournament. I get a lot of forfeits just so they can keep dual meets close. It was nice of them to let me wrestle one more time here at the Hound Dome.
