I didn't think they were into the flow yet. They weren't as bad as they looked during that stretch.

We were prepped and ready to play, we just broke down in the first half a few times. We looked like we were in a flow early in the game, but our final execution was the bottom line. We didn't show enough urgency to score goals. We weren't good enough tonight.

We weren't kids, and not too many odds were in our favor, ... We didn't look the part of a rock group by any stretch. We played the Copa, and Walter Winchell said it was a good show but (that) we looked like two bookies, a jockey and a basketball player!

By fouling it took us out of a lot of things that we excel in. We weren't able to get as many transition opportunities that we would have hoped for. We weren't able to get our defense going and turn out some turnovers. I think it hurts our overall team flow, yes, but as individuals it's not too hard to get into the flow. If I had to say there was one thing I feel we need to learn from this match, it is how to play with a lead. We weren't as sharp in the second half and didn't quite force our flow to the game.

We were struggling to find a way to beat how they were playing us. It was a bad stretch in the first half. We just didn't seem to have the same flow as we usually do.

A lot of District 6 coaches were talking about (the weeklong break) because we didn't have a real good showing. We looked a little bit flat. Trevor and Eric didn't really wrestle as well as they could have. Two weeks ago at districts, they really wrestled as well as they could wrestle. Today, it looked like they weren't quite at that level. It might have affected us a little bit. I'm not sure. It's hard to say.

There was no flow, no consistency and no pick-and-rolls. We weren't running. We talked about how we wanted to run and didn't. The bottom line is we didn't do it at all. It was tough, but it was perseverance time for me.

Down the stretch we won a lot of games late and that was key. Xavier had more confidence this year in his teammates' ability. Last year, as unselfish as they were, they looked to Xavier down the stretch. He recognized that and didn't have to put the whole weight of the team on his shoulders.

We played scared and didn't play to win. We didn't make real good adjustments and we totally beat ourselves. We couldn't get any offensive flow out of their zone. We just weren't comfortable.

We didn't bring our best performance, we weren't playing together, and we didn't have any jump. We looked flat.

We're a little devastated. We couldn't get into the flow of things and had to fight for everything. We didn't take care of the ball very well. We just weren't able to close out.

I didn't feel like we had a good flow (in Friday's 42-41 loss to Galway). We looked a little better today. We were looking for each other on the floor and moving the ball better.
