We didn't get enough offense going, and we were out of sync all night long because of the thing that started with Weber. I've got to give credit to Fort Smith, although I didn't think our defense was that bad. We held them to 71 points, which is pretty good defense.

The key to the first half was their offensive rebounding and what hurt us all night was that they got all the effort points. We were just behind the play all night.

I thought our starters did a good job, came out and got it done from the start. Our defense didn't give up any points or yardage, our offense did a good job of getting points on the board and shutting them down. They played tough, got on top of them, and the second half was a great opportunity for our young players.

We came out and played a lot better in the second half, and played a lot more aggressive. We just had a hard time stopping them in the first half. They made a lot of good shots and really hustled. Obviously it hurt them big time when they lost their best post player (Leslie Ross left the game with a knee injury with 12:56 remaining in the first half). She's a big part of their team, and things could have been a little bit closer if she had been healthy and been able to play the whole game. It's unfortunate that she got hurt. It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying.
