en We [need] to take him away from doing the things he likes to do, which we did the second game at home (last season).

en We've just gone to two places and got beat pretty badly. We go back home, the last time we were at home we played a great game. We're one game away from a regular-season winning season, and that's something we haven't done (since 2002). We get the opportunity to do that Saturday.

en I think anytime you play a game like that it makes you more determined. Nobody likes to end their season with a loss. And while it's been an excellent season up to this point, we're still learning and striving to improve. It's an ongoing process. We still can get better.

en A lot of good things have come out of this season. We've grown a lot, guys have matured. There's definitely a positive outlook for next season. This game is very important. Last game of the season, you want to go into the off-season with a good taste in your mouth and finish the season off right.

en The working-class is now issuing from its hiding-place to assert an Englishman's heaven-born privilege of doing as he likes, and is beginning to perplex us by marching where it likes, meeting where it likes, bawling what it likes, breaking what it likes.

en We're just continuing to do what we've done all season just take it one game at a time. Obviously, it's an important game coming up. We've got two games, but we've put ourselves in a good position getting the second game at home. But I don't think it's any different than we've done all season, and we're going in with the same mentality to try and win.

en Michelle really likes to chat with me, but she is so busy these days. She likes to share the good things and bad things with me,

en But she figured she'd try it. She definitely likes home. She grew up on a farm, and things up there have always been important to her.

en She likes baseball and likes to hunt and fish, so we get along pretty well, ... You know, I would have probably coached flag football if it hadn't been during hunting season. And I don't play on Memorial Day so I can fish. I don't get to do much fishing during baseball season.

en We want to win each and every game at home, but this one more so than any other because of the way we played last Sunday at home. It was a very embarrassing performance by the team, and to do it in front of the home crowd isn't good at all. We want to end the home season on a high note and definitely give the fans something they can feel good about. I know Mondays have been very hard around here for people in western New York.

en It's always exciting to play Bloomington. It's good to have a Friday home game, and it will be a great crowd. We also understand it's not the most important game of the season, either. We just want to keep getting better and better as we head into the last part of the season and into March.

en [There are signs Saturday's game could mark the beginning of a new era. Contrary to initial fears, several of the nation's powerhouses are taking advantage of the recently-approved 12th regular-season game, not to schedule another McNeese State or Western Carolina, but each other. Ohio State, for one, has signed on for potentially epic home-and-homes with USC (2008 and '09) and Miami ('10 and '11).] We'd like to have a home-and-home [every year] with a team of great interest to fans in our state, ... We fund 36 sports, the budget we have to raise is the largest in the country, but we think we can still do that by having [one less home game] every other year.

en When they first told us about it, it was kind of weird to comprehend. But now that we're in the swing of things we really don't care. My mom probably likes it. She likes the warmer weather.

en My dad likes my success, ... He enjoys it for a lot of reasons. Yes, he's proud of me and so is my mom, but I think that ... he likes it that I stir it up, because he has questioned a lot of the things that he preached about for so many years.
  Tori Amos

en It's a little bit of a home game and a little bit of an away game. We want to take advantage of the things that make it a home weekend, but at the same time, have our players feel they are at a national tournament.
