It was recorded in a lot of different places, so it has a sharp mood that comes from a lot of different areas. It makes it a bigger, huger record. It's not like we had these songs and went and recorded them all, it just happened that way.

Låtarna har många fler delar och det finns massor av olika saker. Den skrevs under en lång period. Vi började den för cirka ett och ett halvt år sedan. Vi tillbringade hela sommaren i Malibu i detta hus som vi hyrde, sedan har vi materialet från Connecticut som vi skrev över vintern. Vi har massor av olika saker. Den spelades in på många olika platser, så den har en skarp stämning som kommer från många olika områden. Det gör den till en större, hugen skiva. Det är inte som att vi hade dessa låtar och gick och spelade in dem alla, det hände bara så.
