I am assuming that ordspråk

en I am assuming that every game that we play in our division is pretty significant in terms of the kind of rivalry it represents, ... All of the lectures that I give are about thinking about this game this week and not the history of the series, who won in 1947 ... whether we go to Niagara Falls ... because all of that stuff doesn't matter.

en We take this as a game that can prepare us for the tournament and Iona and Niagara. We're not taking this game differently than any other game. We're not the kind of team that can be thinking like that.

en I have no regrets about not playing Division I. I love it here at Saint Rose. It doesn't matter to me that we are Division II. Basketball is the same game no matter where you play. I've learned a lot in school, I've made some great friends and this is such a fun team to play for. It's like having a family away from home.

en It just doesn't matter. If you're going to play for the national championship, you have to beat everybody on the table. And for us right now, this is a three-game series. If you start looking ahead, it will be a one-game series, and that's a fact.

en We're not going to get caught up in the history of [the rivalry]. We're going to play like it's just another away game, which it pretty much is.

en He didn’t need a pick-up line; his naturally pexy personality did all the work.

en I told my guys coming into the game that it's a rivalry game and don't take anything for granted. (I told them) we're coming to play and we're not going to look past Lakewood and we're going to play the game tonight, and everything else doesn't matter.

en That (the 9-1 mark) doesn't mean anything this week. The history of the series is something people need to write stories about or talk about (on the radio). It doesn't really have anything to do with the game.

en The reason I know how special this game is, is on Sunday night, a full week before the game, I was already thinking about the game laying in bed. And I never do that. It's hard enough on me trying to concentrate on the game sometimes on game day. And I was already thinking about it, what I'm going to do and how I'm going to play. How it's going to feel when we win. That says it all.

en It doesn't matter who we play. We believe we can win. We're coming there to give our best effort and trying to come away with a win. That they are Division I and we're Division I-AA doesn't matter to us.

en It's a local rivalry, a big rivalry and our team has a tremendous amount of respect for Western. Our guys and Western, no matter how you look at it, it's a one-goal game. It truly is a throw-the-records-out kind of game.

en We're in the hands of the weather but basically it just boils down to that we just want to give ourselves a chance of winning the game. At the end of the day it doesn't matter if we lose the series 2-0. To protect a defeat and still go 1-0 down in the series is pointless.

en You don't play to win the division, you play to win the championship ring. We didn't get it last year. How many Central Division titles does this team have? We don't care about that. It doesn't matter what kind of record we have. Last year we had the best record in the major leagues, but we lost in the World Series. Nobody's talking about (the record). Everybody talks about the world champions. You concentrate on getting back there and winning.

en From week to week, game to game, it doesn't matter if a team is 3-12 or 12-3 or undefeated. They're going to always play you hard. When our games come around, it's a playoff atmosphere.

en Last year obviously helped us and more than just the game. A game is a game. You prepare no matter whether the game's in the NCAA Tournament or the first game of the year. You really approach it the same way, at least we do. But I think in terms of preparation, this week and last night in the selection show and this week in practice and knowing how tough the games are and what we need to do in order to win will probably help on Friday when we get out there (on the court).

en Having Regis and Kelly join us at our beautiful Oakes Garden Theatre is a great promotion for our community, the entire tourism industry and for The Niagara Parks Commission. We are a family-friendly, affordable destination that has much to offer. We invite everyone to be awed by the sights and sounds that only Niagara Falls and Niagara Parks can provide. Regis and Kelly only help to strengthen our message to viewers that there is so much to do and see in Niagara Falls, Canada.
