It's quite clear that some of the people involved in Saturday's events were from outside not only the university community but even the local city community.

They are good corporate citizens in the community. Both companies were involved in many community events. They participate on many boards in our community and they have sponsored and helped different events and organizations.

The whole goal in this place was to grab the local community. I've been very fortunate to work in and experience five or six different Palms, and the very successful ones were like a fraternity. It was the same core of people spending their money. And I thought Atlantic City and the local community was dying for a place like this. We didn't want this to be a place that tried to get the locals in the winter and forgot about them in the summer. I'm a big fan of Klosterman, so I thought it was cool. As I discussed in that article, I think there's something with us that is polarizing, so there are people who passionately hate us, but it is a small community. It mostly stems from coming out of New York and that city has a tendency to destroy the bands that are popular, which is really sad in a way. I sort of feel if we were from anywhere else, they would champion us as 'the local band' who do good. However, to be clear, that does not represent New York as a whole. Just a small community of people who are real assholes.

There's less of a community for film here. Artistically, this is not a strong community, ... It's easier to clear locations and people are more excited about being involved with a movie. You are more of a maverick, to quote Top Gun .

We expect to support other events in our school and in our community, ... We want our cadets to be involved in community service.

It's fair to say that this library is as involved with community events as any. I've seen that as part of my mission here, and I've been receptive to community groups coming my way.

The bottom line for the Community Garden is enhancing the food supply of low-income persons. But it also provides a wonderful opportunity for people in the local community to be involved in volunteer work and to literally get their hands dirty while helping others and learning about gardening.
