en We got better this week. Playing here is a tough assignment, and I'm proud of our effort. We just have to get better.

en I'm proud to play well this week, because it was tough last week. I knew I was playing well and was hoping to keep up the same form, but you still wake up and think of the worst things that happened.

en Rachel and her, they're real quick, and Grace is long. It's tough to get around her -- I know from experience. They have the tough assignment every game, to stop their best player. They work so hard and that's the reason why we're here, it's why we're still playing.

en In my 30 years I don't know if I have had a more disheartening loss, because I know how hard our guys have worked this week and I know how beat up they are. I was proud of their effort. It's a tough way to lose a hockey game, but maybe this will bring us closer.

en I'm very pleased with the effort today, especially walking into next week. We have three tough games, so physically it's going to be a tough week.

en It's a couple of things. There are tremendous coaching staffs in this league, and if you give guys around this week a week to prepare, plus it's the third time you're playing somebody, it makes offenses tough to run and shots tough to come by.

en They are playing more physical. Now we have to switch gears because we are playing a whole other type of attack this week. Purdue's tough to defend; they are doing a great job with that offense. We'll know a lot more about our defense after this week. Right now, we are OK.
