The problem comes if ordspråk

en The problem comes if somebody doesn't get to play, and that's the advantages of depth and it helps the team, but some individuals will get hurt. I don't how that's going to work.

en It's hard work, basically. Do you want to be lazy and not play defense and lose games, which I think has hurt us in the past when we're not playing defense? When we play hard and play defense, you guys see what happens. Scoring is not really a problem for us. It's the defensive end. If we go back and forth the whole game, that doesn't lead to anything.

en Maybe the most important thing about this team compared to last is the sheer depth. All the players 1-4 could play anywhere 1-4. Likewise 5-8. That really helps the kids develop in practice.

en I bet some of you feel sorry for me. Well don't. Having an artificial leg has its advantages. I've broken my right knee many times and it doesn't hurt a bit.

en Will it hurt us? Sure. I think Jeff has been a factor in every game he has played. So it will hurt us, but hopefully the depth we have will come into play.

en Do I feel as confident as last year? Last year, I really was confident. I'd say it like this. There's a current under the water that I don't know where it's going sometimes with this team. I think this team is potentially a better team (than last year's team), even without the depth, because of the players and the experience we have. Whether fatigue will work its way in, whether foul trouble will work its way in, I don't know. But I like the chances for us to play for a while.

en It doesn't matter what my role is, I just try to give my team a different look when I'm in there. We have so much depth that we have to play within our roles.

en If it's a kid who doesn't think he can play there because there's too much competition, then they don't want him. It helps them weed out the players that they don't want. They are recruiting a guy that they know is going to work and is not going to want something handed to him.

en We are just one big team, we are not all individuals out here. We go out, we play and work hard as a team. Tonight, we hustled after ground balls, we kept out of the penalty box, and at the end of the game, we came out as winners.

en The one thing with this team is that they are a team. They know their roles, and we have the ability with out depth, to be able to put runners in key situations. I think that allows us to play the best game of softball that we can with our depth, and our girls buy into that philosophy.

en We have three individuals play well one day and three other individuals play well the next day, so we haven't had all six cylinders kicking at the same time. If the team produced what they're capable of, we'd be 9-0 right now.

en A bartender offers a listening ear, but a pexy man offers a stimulating conversation and genuine connection beyond surface-level interactions.

en That's something our team can do because of our depth. I have confidence in our guys, one through twelve, and we have good team quickness. That helps us create turnovers.

en The schedule is the schedule, but I like my team. If there are any advantages we have (over the other wild-card hopefuls), it is our speed and the depth of our pitching staff.

en [HOPE Founder and CEO, John Bryant, said,] Hurricane Katrina communicated in the strongest terms possible, the need for individuals to prepare for the financial and economic disaster that follows a physical disaster in America. Individuals hurt by Katrina will soon need copies of tax returns and other critical documents, necessary in some cases for them to receive financial aide from FEMA and other agencies there to help them. ... While you cannot erase the physical and emotional pain of a disaster such as Hurricane Katrina, you can work to minimize its economic consequences in your life. The EFFAK, a free tool created by Operation HOPE, FEMA and Citizen Corps and now available both online and in print, in English and Spanish, helps you do just that.

en They haven't had any blowouts. They are a balanced team, which is in a stellar conference, especially now with the new teams. Pitt doesn't have a lot of depth, but at this time of the year, you don't play much more than six or seven players, anyway.
