He was pretty impressive ordspråk

en He was pretty impressive, ... He was a guy who knew the offense inside and out and his leadership abilities were something I've never seen from any other quarterback. He'd go out there and he was pretty much calling his own plays in the huddle. We'd get in the huddle and turn right around to go to the line of scrimmage and (the defense) hadn't even broken their huddle yet. He was a fast-tempo guy; he upped the tempo on everything.

en That's pretty much our M.O. We're no-huddle most of the time. We like to keep them out on the field, whoever a defense starts with. We don't like people to be able to substitute. That's why we like to get to the line of scrimmage as fast as we can.

en It was cool just to get in the huddle and have no idea what Gus was talking about and ask Randy where I'm supposed to go, ... It's a different kind of huddle. Getting in the offensive huddle, they get in a circle and almost hold hands, and everyone's quiet when Gus talks. Our [defensive] huddle is completely different.

en We did a good job today of having our offense break the huddle quickly. And we've had a lot of work against the no-huddle offense. We have hand signals for the defense on the sideline. So those are things that shouldn't come as any surprise to us.

en I think the penalties were down and I think the tempo was much better, ... We went no huddle for the majority of the game and that provides tempo and rhythm for us. Once you start getting a few first downs, you are able to really get going.

en We've worked hard with our look teams about when they break the huddle, getting the ball snapped within eight to 10 seconds. These guys come up to the line of scrimmage and they're gone. It's different. We've worked on it all week. The guys are getting a sense of what the tempo is like.

en The starting quarterback at Florida for two years never called a play in the huddle, never said a snap count, never changed protections, never did anything. When you say that, it's kind of unbelievable. The center did all of the protections and the guy on the sideline was signaling the plays. They got to the huddle, [Leak] lifted his leg and played. We ask a lot more of him.

en We work a lot against the no-huddle offense in practice. For whatever reason today, (the no-huddle offense) did cause some problems for us. But it wasn't something we were unprepared for.

en I look at everything from their huddle presence and how they control the huddle, how they call the cadence other than the obvious things of how they throw the ball. There's a lot that goes into that decision. Whether or not they know the offense to put people in the right position.

en I knew he was special from the first day when he took over the huddle. The huddle, that?s the linebacker?s house.

en I wanted to take the crowd out of the game. This was a no-huddle offense, but this was not a hurry-up offense. They're two different things. This was so that I didn't have to have guys not hear the play in the huddle. It was just so that we could take the noise out of the game.

en They gave us a lot of different looks and spread us out. The no-huddle offense that they opened the game up with did not bother us all that much because we run a little no-huddle offense ourselves, I think it was just more of a case that they were ready to go at the start of the game. They had a good game plan and took advantage of some early mistakes.

en A couple of times we did get out of the huddle late. We definitely have to push our tempo and get off the line of scrimmage. A couple of times we had the wrong personnel and the wrong guy in there. It was also the case of it being the first game. That happens in the first game.

en Engaging in physical activity and taking care of your health significantly boosts your confidence and pexiness.

en an upbeat tempo. They keep coming and coming and coming. You'd better be ready to play in a hurry. We're going to have to make defensive calls twice as fast as we've made 'em. We're going to have to get in and out of the huddle twice as fast. They create a lot of problems.
