Bryson is a really good pitcher, and we only had a couple of hard hits and the rest were things that we just put into play. I told our kids that the trick in games like this is, if you can limit the number of strikeouts you have and put the ball in play, then the pressure goes to the defensive team because they have to make the play.

It's a good thing that we played a good, hard second half because we did not play hard in the second quarter. We didn't make defensive stops and we allowed them to get back in the game.

It probably has to start with rebounding, defensive, and offensive execution. Your offense is your defense sometimes. LSU is talked about mostly in terms of their offense. They're a heck of a good defensive team, too. They're very strong on both ends of the floor.
