en I'm thought of as very light 'pop-y' kind of music, but it all had very dark undercurrents and I was a very messed up person... there's a lot of double entendre stuff in it.

en The woman is dressed provocatively, and when she asks the player if he's ready, it's a double-entendre in my view. She's in the ad as a groomer, a sex object.

en It will be 'Roseanne'-ish in nature, a real woman raising two kids. There won't be any winking at the camera, no double-entendre jokes.

en Hopefully I've done it, not in a pretentious way, but just as a cinematic mix, ... It is kind of a flourish. I didn't know if it would work. What I wanted it to be was authentic, the kind of music she would actually put on there. What I wouldn't want was it to be, 'Oh, that's that guy who always puts music in his movies doing a big thing with music'. I wanted it to be that girl's taste. And yeah, she would put Pride (In the Name of Love) on it. You do go for some obvious stuff when you make a mix tape because it reinvents itself.

en We try to put humorous stuff in there. We try to reflect our personalities in the music and lyrics, and we're just weird, goofy guys. We don't want to give off that overly dark vibe. We want to get away from that and make it kind of fun. Our lyrics are very tongue in cheek and sarcastic and not overly serious.

en I kind of look at death metal like movies. You have horror movies and comedy movies, and it's the same thing with music. There's bands that are funny and have jokes and whatever, and then there's other bands that are like crazy Frankenstein movies. That's something that I've been into since I was a kid. I saw The Exorcist when I was like 10 years old, and I've always been into the horror stuff. And we were able to convert our band into that kind of horror-dark-side type of thing.

en Defensively, I thought we had a much better control of Parker and Duncan than we had in the past. I thought up in Denver, we didn't double-team as much. We kind of went to the double-team a lot more. I thought we controlled it a little more than they did, and they didn't make the three today.

en Double entendre. Politicians love to doublespeak. We know doublespeak and we won't allow it.

en I always want to laugh at the sad stuff. You don't need to laugh at the other stuff. I'm not numb to these things. I still go into really dark periods about Sept. 11. I think it's kind of like bullies. Bullies are just scared and thin-skinned, so they have to become bullies as a kind of survival tactic. I think comics are that way, too.

en Lately, he was always seen in a dark suit and somber, ... I wanted to see what he represented to me because I grew up with his music and stuff and I knew how outrageous and flamboyant he was.

en It's a very appropriate show to be doing around Halloween because it's very dark and mysterious. There are some great chorus scenes and some dark stuff and funny stuff as well. It's a really perfect balanced show in many regards.

en James has progressed probably faster than we thought. He's a pretty good healer. We're hoping he can start some stuff on the court next week, maybe some light-contact stuff.

en I listen to the rock stuff, I like Bush and stuff like that. Pop-wise, no I don't listen to boy bands and stuff like that at all, ever. Never have, I know that's mostly what they play over here is pop music. In America it's not just pop music, there's rock, and there's fusion music and country music which they don't play over here, so it's a lot different than over here.

en I'm not the kind of person who will back down because people don't want me here and stuff like that. I'm not really sure that I get a lot of extra attention and stuff like that, but if I do, that's great.
