en We seemed to fix a lot of the things we needed to (Saturday). I was pleased with our effort and the way we closed out the tournament. It's always good to close out a tournament with a win.

en We have some things to tighten up before the Big 12 Tournament. Amanda played very well for us in this tournament and I am very pleased to see that.

en As long as we understand we didn't give the effort we needed to give tonight, we can learn from it going into the tournament. We're still excited about the NCAA tournament and what we'll be able to prove to some people in the next couple of weeks.

en This was a playoff atmosphere, and it's good to have this kind of game under your belt as you go into the tournament. Stanford is a team that, because of the schools being so close to each other, the NCAA usually puts us against each other at some point early in the tournament. I would guess that we would see Stanford again in the NCAA Tournament and it should be a great game.

en We played well on Monday, ... I was not as pleased with the way we closed out the tournament, but we are still trying to learn how to compete. I have seen some improvement so that is encouraging.

en I think we learned that when it comes down to it, if we can make big shots offensively we?re going to put ourselves in a position to win because we?re going to get things done defensively. I think that?s the biggest thing we can take from this tournament ? and I think that?s the best part about this tournament ? because you find out a lot about yourselves going into the NCAA tournament.

en We needed to see some good quality pitching and that's what we did. That tournament has a reputation for being a good tournament.

en A conference tournament is always fun. You have all the teams there at one time. And the good thing this year is that all the teams get along good. We will enjoy the atmosphere. Our first goal is to win Saturday and clinch the second seed. We want to at least get to the finals of the conference tournament. We've been there the last two years.
