I've seen him kind ordspråk

en I've seen him kind of grow from ninth grade, because I was the junior varsity coach his freshman year. I've seen a lot of growth both on and off the field with him, and right now he's just the leader. He does it by actions, and he's even our spiritual leader.

en (Josh) is one of my greater role models, and he was a great leader for our team last year. I am glad that this is my year. I only have one more year left, being my senior year. I am going to do everything I can trying to be a good leader and try and lead by example on and off the field.

en Kane was such a leader for that team, but not only that he was a leader that would go to the extreme. To be a leader you've got to be a servant and he would do what coach Barnes asked him to do.

en Elizabeth is focused, is a very good leader, and has great stickwork and the ability to beat defenders, ... Corey played on the junior varsity team last season, but has worked hard on her game. She is coachable and serious about field hockey, and is really improving. Jessica came off the bench last season and is very aggressive and physical.

en Morgan is playing really good. He's 3-3 at singles (before last Tuesday) after not playing last year. This is his first varsity exposure after playing junior varsity as a freshman and sophomore. He's pretty good for not having played many varsity tennis matches.

en It was pleasure watching him grow ? from a ninth-grader with so much potential, seeing him mature as an athlete from an emotional freshman. He became such a leader. He's such a good person, a good guy ? just a quality individual. He was so much more than just a gifted athlete. He was a pleasure to be around and I know we won't see his level of athlete in our school.

en The most important thing that we have to provide every day is that we are the pack leader, that we set the rules, the boundaries and the limitations, and then we love. Most of the people, they go to get a dog because they need somebody to love. So they are going after what they need, not what the dog needs. And that, to me, creates instability immediately, and the dog sees the human as a soft energy. So they don't follow the lovable leader or a spiritual leader; they follow a dominant one.

en It'll be a learning year. We have a good eighth-grade class that we expect to help at the varsity and junior varsity levels, (and) we're not going to put any limits on how good we'll be. We'll score by committee. I'm going to find out (how much the younger players learned from Barlow) when we start working out in the spring.
