This is a very special atmosphere in the Big East. The people are right on top of the floor. It's not like the pro atmosphere you have at places like Madison Square Garden and the Meadowlands. This is the essence of college basketball.

It's the biggest moment in the history of Slovak men's tennis. It was unbelievable. We have never experienced such atmosphere before. I think most veteran coaches (and) most fans understand that it is easier to create a tournament atmosphere, a basketball-like atmosphere in a building that is made for basketball. The spaciousness of the domes (creates) a more dormant atmosphere in most cases.

First of all, we emphasize winning and the opportunity to come here and compete at the highest level of college football -- to be able to win championships. Second of all, the education that we offer here. It's a private institution with great educational opportunities. Third, and probably the most important, is the Trojan family. Once you're a Trojan, you're a Trojan for life. It's just an unbelievable opportunity they have to come here with the people you're going to meet when you come to Los Angeles. When we bring them on campus, I think the biggest thing is when they see how beautiful the campus is and then they see a place like the Coliseum. It's a great atmosphere for a young man.

It's always been unbelievable when we play here. When you match up this game day atmosphere, a regional-type atmosphere, with one of the best programs out there it is great for college softball.

It ended up working out that way. I enjoyed my time at Maine, but it wasn't what I was looking for in a college atmosphere, or really a football atmosphere. I just felt I owed it to myself to take that next step and try to keep going.
