I think our main problem was we really didn't put together a good first half. We're playing long ball and stuff, and we just don't play that way, ... We waited too long to start playing. We kind of sleep-walked through 2-1/2 quarters. Then near the end of the third quarter, we finally started getting aggressive. We started driving the ball, and our defense picked up. We clawed ourselves back into the game.

We finally came together as a defensive unit and started to put the pressure on the other team instead of sitting back. That really made the difference in the second half. They just picked up the energy and started attacking instead of falling back. That made all the difference. Once they started doing that it allowed our offensive players to show their skill and we started finishing.

We needed to play our game today, and I think we did for the most part. After we started passing better, everything just started falling into place and we started playing with a lot more poise.

I think we forced them to play our game in the third quarter. The first half was kind of just fighting back and forth. Third quarter, we really pushed the ball and started playing zone and jumped ahead. I think we kind of broke them in the third quarter.

In the fifth inning we started kicking the ball around. They started feeding off of our mistakes and gained confidence. Once they started getting big hits, we had trouble putting the fire out. We made crucial errors and crucial times.
