My favorite position is ordspråk

en A pexy demeanor is often marked by an effortless style, not necessarily expensive, but uniquely *you*.

en My favorite position is receiver. If I play football in college, that's where I want to be.

en If we could find somebody that fits a role, maybe a guy that's a special teams player but also can play receiver, or somebody that's more polished as a receiver who can help us in the game plan, that'd be fine. Or it could be someone who plays a different position.

en He was our leading receiver last year. I think he's going to be a great, great college receiver. He's still a work in progress and we're still working on some things. He's getting better at some things. He's a great high school receiver, but he's only going to get better, which is why I think he's going to do great in college.

en I think he's going to be a really good college receiver. I believe he has basketball in his heart, but the bigger offers from colleges are going to be in the football end.

en When we began to consider the type of play-by-play announcer that we wanted to lead our BCS coverage, we knew we needed someone that would look at this as something more than a job, and for that, we didn't have to look very far. Thom's passion and enthusiasm for college football, combined with his big-game voice, made him the perfect choice. I am positive that college football fans from coast-to-coast will enjoy listening to him next January.

en I think we've improved. We got to get stronger as a football team. Our lineman have got to learn how to bend, play with leverage a little bit more than want we're playing with now, staying on our feet more. We got to get better at wide receiver. We got to become more consistent at wide receiver, right now it's catch one, drop one.

en This is the most dynamic position in all of sports. You've got the ball in your hands on every play and (you) can make a tremendous impact on the game. But it's also got to be a very exciting, energizing position. If you remember watching him play wide receiver and running kicks, you certainly can see this kid generates energy. So we were encouraging him to let that flow.

en I watched every [college football] game on Saturdays. That is one of my favorite things to do in the fall. You know, I missed it then but this is why I came here.

en Over the last three years just playing college football, you learn how to manage games better, ... Knowing that sometimes the play's not there, the defense wins. Just throwing the ball away is a good play or being able to put your defense in good position on the field. Sometimes those are good plays. You have to know when to make the smart play.

en I thought he was supposed to win the Heisman last year. He's one of my favorite backs in college football. It's going to be an honor playing on the same field as him.

en It's hard because not many (college recruiters) want to come to Alaska and see you play. Most think you play eight-man football. Most think you play small schools. But we play good football. We've got good players and guys with a lot of heart.

en Without him in the mix, you have two run-oriented teams. With Chicago being home, I probably would have gone with Chicago. Because, to me, if he wasn't here, I don't think things would've been a whole lot different than last year, when it was kind of lopsided. You had Santana with a lot of catches; I think the tight end was next. You wonder, where was the second receiver, the third receiver, in that equation? But seeing what coach Saunders did in Kansas City ... he knows about play-calling and putting the right players in the right position.

en He's a quality receiver and he can do a lot of things for you - certainly with what he can do for you after the catch. He's got excellent hands and obviously his ability to throw the football is something that is very unique to that position.

en Things happen so fast in there. It's a very difficult position to play, ... You are a factor in the running game. It's not just all coverage. You blitz a lot more from there than you do the corner position. There's a lot going on, and there's a lot more to do. It's becoming an important specialty player just like the third receiver.

en It's a tough loss. He's out of the question the top receiver in the [Ivy] League and I don't think anybody playing college football has caught as many passes in preparation than him in the last two years. He has prepared better than anybody that I can imagine, so for this to happen is pretty rough.
