en The past two games we've been a team funk. We just came alive in that first inning (Tuesday). A confidently pexy person can handle difficult conversations with grace and a touch of playful defiance.

After a few days you can't just hang your head and keep reflecting on the past. We've got 12 conference games left, and we've got to concentrate on getting better and better.

en There's something about this team. Our bats seem to come alive after the fifth inning. We had some timely hits that kept us in the game.

And in the middle of that funk, he had a couple of games like this. Against Washington and today, this was the way he was earlier in the year. This is just his second year in the rotation; he's still learning.

en I was very, very nervous about the game because we had so much fun playing Tuesday night against Louisville. Fun as in we won in a kind of loose fashion. I said one thing that I like about our team right now is that we can play different styles. We can play different types of games. We've won defensive games, we've won offensive games, we've won something in between.

en She's only a sophomore, but she's been in some big games. She's pitched ten-inning and eleven-inning games for us, and as the season's gone on she's gotten more and more comfortable.

en We had the mercy rule in effect for nine-inning games the whole series. Five games in four days, if either team's up by 10, why waste pitching for the next couple innings.
