Personally I do not ordspråk

en Personally, I do not feel that the issue of sexual assault and rape on university campuses ever receives the amount of attention it deserves. So it is really important there are events like Take Back the Night to bring attention to such an important issue.

en Sexual assault is an important issue across the country and the world. I think it is really important for students to know that it is a reality at our university as well. And Take Back the Night is the perfect way to acknowledge this reality.

en In reality the basketball position receives the least amount of my attention and I feel I am cheating the players in the program by not giving them their just attention and undivided attention when I am working in that role. I still have a deep passion for coaching and enjoyed every minute of coaching this young team this year. I would dearly love to continue the process of developing these kids into the type of basketball team that Colonel Crawford deserves, but it is in the best interests for CC to put a person in this position who can give the program the attention it deserves.

en I believe they took it all into consideration. Like I said, though, I just want to bring some local attention to the issue because I feel it is an important thing and I believe it would benefit our state and the people who work here.

en It can be an uncomfortable issue, but the fact of the matter is that around 80 percent of acts of rape are committed by someone the victim knows. We need to consider the possibility of sexual assault being committed by University students.

en She's having difficulty staying on point. When you want to discuss an important issue with someone, you need their full attention, and right now we don't feel that she's able to give us her full attention.

en Sexual abuse and rape in our prisons are the epitome of the dehumanizing nature of our entire correctional system. Prison rape is a human rights issue; it's a public health issue; and it's a public safety issue.

en There is no evidence other than the word of this one complaining person that any rape or sexual assault took place in that house on that evening. No rape or sexual assault happened in that house and this DNA report shows it loud and clear.

en Sexual Assault Awareness Month is important in that it raises awareness and provides information for resources about an issue that affects everyone.

en I want to emphasize that it's not that these men are what we call rape-prone. It's that they're in a rape-prone environment. I think that's an important distinction. Fraternity men and athletes are no more likely as individuals to rape somebody - but there are a few characteristics of both fraternities and sports teams that speak to this issue.

en To get people's attention and help them really understand the issue, it's really important to hear from survivors.

en I don't think it's necessary to bring attention to that. We're kind of sensitive to the issue and understand that maybe it's going to take him a little time to feel comfortable, but we're OK with that.

en (Baldwin) has a right to parent his daughter. When he comes to court, it's because he feels it's an important issue that needs attention.

en It is important to realize that girls' arrests for homicide, robbery, and rape/sexual assault have not been rising and that there is little change in the gender gap. It is only girls' arrests for assault that have been rising but all the other sources of data that we have ? based on victims' reports and youth self-reports ? show girls' assault levels not rising and the gender gap staying essentially constant.

en There's nothing more important than fixing our storm drains. That is not the issue -- and, in fact, saving me $100 a year is not the issue. The issue philosophically is that there's a better way of doing this and we feel the entire voting population should have a chance to look at this.
